About GCSA

GCSA is a convening platform that aligns cyber awareness, incident readiness, policy conversation, and inclusive capacity-building across The Gambia.

GCSA’s work is organized around practical national outcomes:

  • Awareness and advocacy for safer digital behavior across communities and organizations.
  • Capacity development for students, practitioners, and volunteers entering the cyber workforce.
  • Policy engagement that supports stronger governance and trusted digital transformation.
  • Incident readiness through reporting guidance, referral pathways, and response coordination.

The alliance operates through a distributed model designed for reach and specialization:

  • Regional participation that makes awareness work locally relevant.
  • Thematic clusters that deepen expertise in specific cyber domains.
  • A technical community that supports events, campaigns, mentoring, and escalation workflows.

The alliance focuses on visible and measurable outputs:

  • community awareness campaigns and school outreach
  • cluster-led discussions and practical workshops
  • incident response education for homes and small businesses
  • stakeholder forums that connect industry, government, and civil society
